Information we handle
When you browse the website
You can read our website without telling us who you are. Our web hosting provider may automatically keep standard server logs, which can include your IP address, browser type, the pages you requested and the time of your visit. These logs are used only to keep the website secure and working properly, not to build profiles of visitors.
When you use the enquiry form
When you fill in the enquiry form and press the button, your browser composes a message and opens WhatsApp on your device. The details you typed are not sent to our website or server. You can review, change or delete the message in WhatsApp, and nothing reaches us unless you press send.
When you contact us by WhatsApp, phone or in person
If you message us on WhatsApp, we receive what you choose to send, such as your name, phone number, WhatsApp profile details and message. If you call or visit, we receive what you share with our team. We use this information only to reply to your enquiry and help you.
Please do not send detailed medical information
Please do not send detailed medical history, test results or other sensitive health information through WhatsApp or the enquiry form. For questions about your health or medicines, please speak with our pharmacist by phone or in person. If you do send health information, we will use it only to respond to you.
WhatsApp, Google Maps and other third-party services
Our website links to WhatsApp and Google Maps, which are provided by other companies. Messages you send through WhatsApp are processed by WhatsApp and its parent company Meta under their own terms and privacy policy, and are then received by us. Google Maps is provided by Google under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not control how these companies handle your information, and they may process it outside the Kingdom of Bahrain. We encourage you to read their policies.
Our website does not embed third-party content such as maps, videos or social media widgets.
How we share information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We may share information only:
- with our web hosting provider, to the extent needed to run the website;
- where we are required to do so by law, by a court, or by a competent authority in the Kingdom of Bahrain; or
- where necessary to protect the safety of a person or to protect our legal rights.
How long we keep information
Any server logs are kept by our hosting provider for security and operational purposes, in line with its own practices. WhatsApp messages are kept only for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, after which we delete them unless we need to keep them for a legal reason. Information you share in person or by phone is handled in line with our normal pharmacy record-keeping obligations.
Cookies and local storage
Our website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising tools. The website may store a small, non-identifying preference in your browser’s local storage (for example, a display or language setting) so that the site works as you expect. This stays on your device, is not sent to us, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
We do not currently use cookies or analytics. If this changes, we will update this page before doing so.
How we protect information
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we receive, including limiting access to our WhatsApp account and records to authorised staff. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure.
Your choices and rights
We intend to handle personal data in line with applicable law in the Kingdom of Bahrain, including Law No. (30) of 2018 with respect to Personal Data Protection. Subject to that law, you may be able to ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you may object to certain uses. To make a request, please contact us using the details above. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on your request.
Children
Our website is not designed to collect information from children. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian before contacting us about a health matter.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date shown on this page tells you when it was last updated. Please also read our Terms of Use and Medical Disclaimer.
