The website is operated by AJ Pharmacy, Commercial Registration No. 162575-04, which operates AJ Pharmacy, a community pharmacy at 24 A, Zubara Avenue, Block 318, Al Hoora, Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain, under pharmacy licence No. 32000816 issued by the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA). Its VAT registration number is 220022168700002. In these terms, “we” and “us” refer to the pharmacy.

What the website is for

The website is an information website. It tells you about our pharmacy, our services, our location and opening hours, and how to contact us, and it may include general health articles. In particular:

• there are no user accounts, no online shop, no checkout and no online payments;
• we do not sell, supply or dispense any medicines or other products through the website; and
• nothing on the website is an offer to sell a product at a particular price.

Information on the website is general information only. It is not medical advice and does not replace a consultation with a pharmacist, doctor or other qualified healthcare professional. Please read our Medical Disclaimer for more details. In a medical emergency, call 999 immediately.

Contacting us through WhatsApp or the enquiry form

The enquiry form on our contact page only prepares a message and opens WhatsApp on your device. Nothing is sent to us until you press send in WhatsApp. When you use WhatsApp, you also use a service provided by WhatsApp and Meta under their own terms.

• An enquiry is a request for information. It is not an order, a reservation or a contract, and we may not be able to answer every message.
• Any information we give about product availability or price is indicative only and must be confirmed with the pharmacy.
• Prescription-only medicines are supplied only in person at the pharmacy, in line with applicable requirements, and never through the website.
• Please do not send detailed medical history or other sensitive health information through WhatsApp or the form. For health questions, please speak with our pharmacist.
• WhatsApp is not monitored at all times and is not suitable for urgent matters.

Acceptable use

When using the website, you agree not to:

• use it in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent or harmful;
• try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its server or any connected system;
• interfere with the website’s operation, for example by introducing malicious code or overloading it; or
